Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 July 2026. These terms apply to your use of hub.xeotype.com and the public information presented on the website.

1. Website operator

This website is operated by XEOTYPE SRL, J24/1044/2023, fiscal code RO48497754, with registered address in Municipiul Sighetu Marmației, Strada Dragoș Vodă, Nr. 185, Județ Maramureș, Romania.

2. Purpose of the website

hub.Xeotype presents product development, software, robotics, prototype, 3D printing and collaboration directions. Website content is informational and does not automatically create a contract, quote, delivery obligation, licence or guarantee.

3. Collaboration requests

When you send a request, Xeotype may contact you to clarify the idea, estimate feasibility, prepare a proposal or decline the request. A project starts only after written agreement on scope, price, timeline, rights, responsibilities and payment conditions.

4. Intellectual property

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the Xeotype name, website structure, texts, visual design, product images, concepts, software direction and product presentation materials are owned by Xeotype or used with permission. You may not copy, resell, reproduce or present them as your own without written permission.

5. Third-party links

The website may link to MobilityCloud, robotics.Xeotype, MakerWorld, Patreon, WhatsApp, email providers or other external platforms. Xeotype is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or policies of third-party websites.

6. Availability and changes

Xeotype may update, suspend, remove or redesign any part of the website at any time. We try to keep public information accurate, but errors, outdated details or temporary interruptions may occur.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xeotype is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, technical interruptions or decisions made solely based on public website content without direct confirmation from Xeotype.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law, with applicable European Union rules where relevant. Any dispute should first be addressed through direct communication with Xeotype.

9. No professional, technical or safety advice

Public website content is not professional engineering advice, legal advice, tax advice, medical advice, safety certification or a substitute for project-specific validation. Robotics systems, prototypes, 3D printed parts, training hardware, software platforms and educational products may require testing, supervision, compliance checks and responsible use before being used in real environments.

10. Robotics, hardware and prototype risk

Any public robotics, mechanical, 3D printed or prototype content is presented for information, product development or commercial presentation purposes. Physical products can fail if assembled, transported, printed, stored, modified or used incorrectly. Users are responsible for safe installation, supervision, maintenance, inspection and compliance with applicable rules, venue requirements and competition requirements.

11. 3D printing and manufacturing tolerances

3D printed objects and prototype parts may vary depending on material, printer, print settings, environment, post-processing, user assembly and wear. Public photos, renders, descriptions and examples are illustrative and may not guarantee identical results in every context.

12. Software platforms and availability

References to MobilityCloud or other Xeotype software products are informational unless you enter a separate product agreement or use the product under its own terms. Features, modules, prices, access rules, billing models, legal documents and availability may change as products evolve.

13. User-submitted materials

By sending materials to Xeotype, you confirm that you have the right to send them and that they do not infringe third-party rights. You grant Xeotype a limited right to review, store and use the materials internally for evaluating, quoting, discussing, prototyping or delivering the requested collaboration. Ownership of project results, licences and public use must be agreed in a separate written agreement.

14. Confidential information

Public forms, email links and WhatsApp conversations are not a substitute for a confidentiality agreement. If the request involves trade secrets, unreleased products, sensitive drawings, private data, security credentials, funding applications or protected business information, ask for a written confidentiality arrangement before sending full details.

15. Pricing, orders and commercial terms

Prices, availability, estimated timelines, product descriptions or service examples displayed on hub.Xeotype are indicative unless expressly confirmed in a written offer. Taxes, shipping, customs, procurement rules, payment terms, warranty limits, support, revisions and delivery conditions must be confirmed per project or per product.

16. Portfolio and “coming soon” projects

Some project cards may describe concepts, reserved pages, active experiments, product directions or future releases. A public card does not guarantee that a product will be released, sold, supported, maintained or delivered in a specific form.

17. Acceptable use

You may not use the website, forms or contact channels to send malicious code, unlawful content, spam, misleading requests, unauthorised personal data, infringing materials, abusive content, security credentials or content intended to harm Xeotype, third-party systems or other persons.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xeotype’s liability for public website use is limited to direct, proven damage caused by Xeotype’s unlawful conduct. Xeotype is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, reputational damage, production delays, failed prints, competition outcomes, funding decisions or reliance on unconfirmed website information.

19. Consumer and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory Romanian or European Union law. If a mandatory rule applies to a specific consumer order, product sale, digital service, warranty or withdrawal right, that rule prevails over any conflicting wording in these public website terms.

20. Updates

Xeotype may update these terms as the hub website, product pages, legal obligations and business structure evolve. Continued use of the website after an update means the latest public version applies to website browsing from that point onward.

21. Relationship with product-specific terms

hub.Xeotype is an ecosystem presentation website. MobilityCloud, robotics.Xeotype, prints.Xeotype, order forms, client portals, software platforms, product downloads or future Xeotype subdomains may publish their own terms, privacy notices, product warnings, payment rules or licence conditions. If product-specific terms apply to a particular service, order, account, file, robot component, printed object or software workflow, those specific terms prevail for that product.

22. Client responsibility for specifications

The person or organisation requesting a collaboration is responsible for providing accurate specifications, measurements, quantities, deadlines, compatibility information, venue restrictions, competition rules, safety requirements, branding assets, technical drawings and legal constraints. Xeotype is not responsible for defects, delays, incompatibilities or unsuitable outcomes caused by incomplete, inaccurate or late information supplied by the requester or third parties.

23. Approval, testing and acceptance

Prototypes, software features, 3D printed parts, robotics structures, visual materials and product pages may require client review and acceptance before use, publication or production. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, approval of a prototype, design, file, page, estimate, render or build direction means the requester accepts the visible characteristics, assumptions and limitations that were available for review at that stage.

24. Safety, supervision and prohibited use

Xeotype products and prototypes must not be used in unsafe, unlawful, unsupervised, life-critical, medical, aviation, transport-control, weapon, hazardous industrial or emergency environments unless a separate written agreement explicitly confirms the scope, certification requirements, testing obligations and risk allocation. Educational, robotics and event products must be used with competent adult supervision where appropriate.

25. Digital files, downloads and user modifications

Downloadable models, files, documentation, templates, code, instructions or assembly materials may be updated, corrected or withdrawn. If a user modifies a file, prints it with different settings, combines it with other parts, changes materials, ignores instructions or uses it outside the intended context, the user is responsible for validating the result and assumes the risks created by those changes.

26. Orders, shipping and delivery risk

Product availability, shipping costs, delivery dates, customs requirements, import taxes, packaging conditions and carrier responsibility must be confirmed for each order. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. For international deliveries, additional shipping quotes and customs conditions may apply.

27. Warranty and support limits

Any warranty, correction period, maintenance obligation, support level, spare-parts availability, update schedule or after-sales service applies only if confirmed in a written offer, invoice, contract or product-specific terms. Normal wear, misuse, unauthorised modifications, unsuitable storage, incorrect assembly, third-party materials and external platform changes may fall outside support.

28. Force majeure and external dependency risk

Xeotype is not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by events outside reasonable control, including hosting outages, internet failures, supplier delays, courier issues, material shortages, payment-provider interruptions, third-party API changes, legal restrictions, illness, accidents, extreme weather, public authority decisions or other force majeure events.

29. Indemnity for misuse and third-party claims

To the extent permitted by law, a requester or user agrees to protect Xeotype from claims, losses or costs arising from unlawful use, unsafe use, unauthorised modifications, infringement caused by materials supplied by the requester, breach of these terms, or use of products and files outside the agreed or intended scope.

30. Language and interpretation

These public terms are drafted in English for website presentation. Romanian law remains applicable where relevant. If a signed Romanian contract, invoice, offer or mandatory legal rule provides a different interpretation for a specific transaction, that document or mandatory rule will prevail for that transaction.
